You may ask, what is a “maxi”? Maxi skirts and dresses are those that are long enough to reach the floor. They have recently become a staple to many girls’ wardrobes for many reasons. They come in all different materials and fabrics and can be dressed up or down. There patterns, materials, and trendy look allow girls to express themselves at any time of day.
“I love wearing maxi’s because they are comfortable and good for any occasion, casual or formal,” UF senior, Melina Garcia said.
“I wear maxi’s because they are comfortable, easy to wear and super cute. I enjoy maxi skirts more than dresses though because it’s fun to put outfits together with them,” UF sophomore, Amy Angelo said.
UF sophomore, Michelle Jansen was asked if she preferred maxi dresses or maxi skirts? “I would say maxi dresses because they don’t break up your body so they make you look longer and leaner,” Jansen said.
“Maxis are really trendy now and they make everyone look longer taller and more slender,” UF junior, Kaley Jaslow said.
